Hello everyone,

Time is flying by and there aren't enough hours in a day which is why I am writting this on a rather strange hour;)
In short what I have done in the past few days:
- made friends and had great social evenings with them:)
- climbed a mountain (the Handberg)(after work, returned around midnight;>)
- casted Tin with Matthias(apprentice smith)
-made crucibles
I am going to make moulds, and cast silver;)...

I think they could have filmed a couple of scene's of the LOTR in the Lofoten.

I climbed my first ever mountain together with Matthias and Laura (a girl from Italia who also made a GREAT risotto the other day:))..>Matthias seemed mostly to be running, so we accused him of living always 10 seconds in the future, or called "Frodo!"after him...
The snowy peaks were reminiscent of Mordor.
From 'my' smithy I have a view on the mountain which is good---but the view from the mountain onto the smithy is good too:>...

Tomorrow Matt(English guy) is leaving us, I think it will be a lot more quiete without a live musician in the house. We were singing songs yesterday.

Keep you posted! First sleep...:)

    Bro (Chris):

Hey sister, great to see your having a wonderfull time there and making new friends :).
Really looks awesome there and makes me ponder over whether to set sail somewhere outside of 'pancake-flat' Holland.
Our Wageningense so called *cough* mountain *cough* looks like nothing compared to the one you climbed ^^.
Wish you all the best and great fun out there.

Kiss from bigbro, ooh and greetings to all new friends ;).

    Marjolein:

I really like your photo's :D Now those are serious mountains and mystic places :) I'm quite fond of the composer Grieg, he always composes very mystic, imaginitive music. Knowing (and seeing) where he comes from, it's clear how he got his inspiration :D
Btw, Chris you're right about the Wageningse Mountain. When my dad told a Bulgarian friend visiting him 'We're now standing on the Wageningse Mountain' his freind started to laugh and stated in Bulgary everything under 500 meter doesn't even have a name :D
