Tussenstop

So, flew to London yesterday and stayed at the Premier Gatwick Inn. Really nice hotel I must say, didn't expect that at all but it was very cosy. You could even make tea in your room, and the bed+pillows were very nice. i have never slept so well in a hotel. The Virgin Atlantic flight from London to Barbados was really luxurious in my opinion too. They had some kind of multimedia console from which you could watch movies, play games or listen to music amongst others. Really new movies too:)(I watched The Lovely bones, and even some silly japanese gameshow in which the contestants(a family)had to play some extreme form of hide and seek in their own house...the fsther even made a new wall with wallp[aper and hid his kid there, while he covered himself under some kind of gravel material(for plants?)---3 men in outragious costumes from the show had to find them or something.If they were unabele to find them the family would win 10.000 yen.
Didn't watch all of it;) Coming in to Barbados, it felt like stepping into a hot oven:) it must be over 30 degrees celsius here. We weren't allowed to stand and wait...as a whole flock of tourists we were guided into a surreal looking maze of blue ribbon(meant to organize the flock;)). Looked like we could have been stuck there for hours, but a lady from LIAT together with Angus(one of our 'professors' rescued us from the line:)...Now I will catch a flight to St.Vincent in a few hours, Due to our summertime-clock, timedifference is even 6 hours.
Oh, and Chris..I always write a lot of smilies. But indeed, so far it seems I have landed in PARADISE.
